Photography
We have various places suitable for wedding pictures around the High Melton site.
Locations include:
- Stables Courtyard
- High Melton’s St Mary’s Church and grounds
- Large grassy area suitable for group photographs
- Large room in the historic Old Hall full of period features such as Chandeliers and marble fireplace
- Outside Old Hall with views of the Dearne Valley

Accommodation
We have over 30 rooms available in the historic Old Hall which 40 yards from the main Stables reception. Prices start from £30 per night which can include a breakfast the following morning. We have a bridal suit which has stunning views of the Dearne Valley towards Sheffield.
Parking is free for all guests and WiFi is available on-site.
Entertainment / Disco / Music
We do not provide entertainment in-house but we can recommend local DJs/Bands/Musicians and can provide a performance area. For more information please contact our Wedding Coordinator.
If you are a local DJ/Band/Muscian and can provide a high quality and reliable service, please contact us to advertise with us.
Bar and Drinks
We have a fully licensed bar at The Stables which can provide a range of good value drinks for your guests. The bar can remain open throughout the day until 12pm but arrangements can be made for this to be extended.
Golf
We have an onsite 9-hole golf course which is open 7 days a week. There is no dress code or booking required, just turn up and play.
